Spirit is the official Entrepreneurship cell (E-Cell) of IIFT. It is the arena where budding entrepreneurs find the right ambience to develop and nurture their innovations and simulate the real world challenges.
E-Summit 2012 was organized in association with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), at IIFT Kolkata campus on 3rd September where corporate leaders & entrepreneurs shared insights on Entrepreneurship from their personal experience.
Some of the activities carried out by Spirit Club are:
· B-plan competitions where new and innovative ideas are developed by respective groups of students which are presented in front of angel investors.
· Develop sustainable business models to fund NGOs and make them independent.
· Lecture series by Alumni and Industry people from reputed corporate holding critical points of responsibilities.
